The Alaska Center for Venous and Lymphatic Medicine’s Medical Director, Armen L. Roupenian, MD, FACS, RVT, is a general and vascular surgeon and certified vascular ultrasound specialist who has been treating patients with vascular problems for over 25 years.
The philosophy of our Center mirrors that of Dr. William Mayo who wrote in 1910 that “the best interest of the patient is the only interest to be considered”.
With that tenet in mind, Dr. Roupenian’s guiding principle throughout his career has been to focus on the needs of the individual patient and as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons to adhere to its motto:
Omnibus per artem fidemque prodesse “To heal all with skill and trust” *
