The American College of Phlebology Annual Congress was recently held in Orlando, Florida with over 1000 attendees. Dr. Roupenian was actively involved as a member of the Congress Planning Committee. He delivered five presentations which included: Correlating Ultrasound Findings with the Clinical Evaluation, Ultrasound Case Presentations, Deep Venous Anatomy and Physiology, Ulcer Basics and The Hemodynamic Paradox: Are recurrent varicose veins inevitable?.
He also moderated an ultrasound scanning session for those new to venous ultrasound and in his role as Chairman of the Abstract Committee, chaired the Poster Presentations and moderated the Oral Abstract Presentations with Sergio Gianesini of the University of Ferrara in Italy.
Dr Roupenian serves on the Board of Directors of the American College of Phlebology.
